  • Apply to be a Voluntary Countryside Ranger
    Full time countryside rangers carry out a wide variety of practical work in maintaining paths, nature reserves and other countryside sites. They have a year-round programme of volunteer working parties in all parts of the county every Wednesday and one Saturday a month. All tools and equipment are provided.

    Arts Development hold a database of professional artists based in the North-East. Artists on the database cross all art forms and are committed to working with groups in County Durham. The need for the database has arisen from the increase in the number of requests from a great variety of groups, wanting to work with professional artists in a particapary, educational setting.


  • Attendance Allowance for people aged over 65
    Attendance Allowance is a benefit, paid by the Department for Work and Pensions, that can be paid to people aged 65 or over. Millions of pounds worth of benefits go unclaimed each year. You can use this form to claim Attendance Allowance.

  • EC Feed Hygiene Regulation (183/2005)
    Application with a view to Registration or Approval under the EC Feed Hygiene Regulations (183/2005) The above regulations in relation to feed businesses came into effect on the 1st January 2006. They replace the Feeding Stuffs (Establishments and Intermediaries) Regulations 1999 which required feed businesses to be approved or registered if they were involved in the manufacture, use or marketing of certain feeds and feed additives. The above regulation extends this requirement to nearly all feed businesses (e.g. importers, sellers, haulage and storage and food by products). Valid identification must contain both your name and current address (e.g. rent book; driving licence; benefit book; gas bill; electricity bill). Under 17s can use their bus pass although parent or guardian's signature will often suffice.
