It is derived from the paper catalogues available in the Searchroom which have been compiled over a 40 year period and therefore show differences in style over that period. The database does not contain images of the documents. To see the originals, you must make an appointment to visit the Record Office.
Each catalogue entry includes the reference number used to identify the document. It is on the first line of the entry, in bold and prefixed with 'Ref. No.'. This number should always be quoted if you wish to see the document in the Record Office.
The database also holds details of the books and pamphlets in the Record Office library. They are not available for loan. |
