Exhibitions

There are regular displays of documents, held by the Record Office, in the Durham Room of County Hall and in the corridor leading to the Record Office. Recent exhibitions include:
  • Edward Backhouse
  • 'Never Been to Durham?' An exhibition of literary connections with County Durham
  • A Shopper's Paradise? (the redevelopment of the site of Paradise Gardens, Durham City)
  • Durham and the Great War

In recent years exhibitions have been provided for the Miners' Gala, the County Show and at several local libraries.
