County Hall

County Hall is the Administrative Centre of Durham County Council. The building stands in 248 acres of parkland on a hill overlooking the historic City of Durham, a world heritage site.

County Hall Durham

As a working organisation employing around 1,400 people and catering for thousands more visitors every year we have developed a range of facilities adaptable to gatherings large and small.

Our range of committee rooms, the Council Chamber and the Durham Room, where visitors from all over the world have been received, affords space for exhibitions, wedding ceremonies, concerts, conferences and meetings.

Meeting rooms are equipped with audio visual equipment and are comfortably furnished and are adaptable for most uses. All can be hired independently of catering services or in conjunction with them.

The County Hall Complex offers a warm friendly environment with ample free car parking designed to meet the individual needs of its clients.
